Spring 2023 Issue

Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the Montefiore Einstein Department of Anesthesiology has been busy with multiple research projects including the first NIH-funded clinical trial designed by department members that has completed enrolling patients. In addition to this achievement, we have celebrated Anesthesia Tech Week in recognition of the exemplary work of our anesthesia technicians and technologists, who play a vital role on the patient care teams throughout Montefiore Medical Center. We are also pleased to highlight several multidisciplinary initiatives including a collaboration with our Obstetric colleagues and a medical mission trip to Jamaica by the Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care.
