Montefiore Medical Group at Via Verde, located at an affordable housing complex designed to enhance greener, healthier living was a natural choice for our first new primary care site in a decade. Via Verde offers residents plenty of fresh air, a fitness center, and communal rooftop vegetable gardens. It is located in the Melrose section of the South Bronx.

Like Via Verde, MMG is dedicated to promoting healthier living through our programs and services that emphasize high quality healthcare and wellness. Staffed by four full-time family medicine physicians, as well as nurses, support staff and a social worker, the 5,000-square-foot practice is projected to accommodate more than 15,000 visits each year by 6,000 patients. Our staff includes board-certified pediatricians as well as board-certified specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, family medicine and more.
