Comprehensive Heart Valve Repair Program

Montefiore's Comprehensive Heart Valve Repair Program participates in the prestigious Cardiothoracic Surgical Trials Network (CTSN). CTSN is a collaboration led by the Heart, Lung and Blood Institute and is committed to advancing the care of patients with cardiovascular disease. This clinical research program is actively enrolling patients with mitral regurgitation and atrial fibrillation.

The Comprehensive Heart Valve Repair Program consistently achieves superior patient outcomes with risk-adjusted operative mortality rates for mitral valve repair that are among the lowest in the nation.
