![]() Sheldon Feldman, MDChief, Division of Breast Surgery and Surgical Oncologya nd Director, Breast Cancer Services, MECCC; Professor of Clinical Surgery, Albert Einstein College of Medicine Dr. Feldman leads the breast surgery and breast surgical oncology program at Montefiore. Since 2003, he has been recognized annually as one of New York Metro Area's Top Doctors and since 2004, he has also been included in the annual "Guide to America's Top Surgeons." Dr. Feldman is a recogized leader in the develpment of innovative minimally invasive techniques to diagnose breast cancer. He has also led extensive research into the causes of breast cancer with the goal of being able to diagnose earlier and more effectively. ![]() Ira Braunschweig, MDClinical Program Director, Hematologic Malignancies, Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, Department of Medicine (Oncology) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Dr. Braunschweig is the Director of the Stem Cell Transplant Program and the Clinical Program Director of Hematologic Malignancies at Montefiore. Starting at Mentefiore in March 2003, Dr. Braunschweig has built the Stem Cell Transplant program into a high volume program recognized by the highest cellular therapy governing organization (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy or FACT). His interests include the treatment of acute leukemias, lymphoma and multiple myeloma, especially using stem cell transplant as a platform for immunotherapy to treat these disorders.
