Dr. Selwyn provides palliative care and specializes in teaching about AIDS. He has a memoir about his experiences in the early AIDS epidemic, Surviving the Fall: the Personal Journey of an AIDS Doctor. He also develops new programs for caregivers to help people recover and heal through grief, loss, and trauma.

Dr. Strelnick is an attending physician in the Department of Family and Social Medicine and. Dr. Zanartu, M.D.—a palliative medicine specialist at Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care—treats patients at all stages of their disease, providing continuous support and care to help relieve their physical and emotional symptoms, while guiding them and their loved ones as they face complex choices and decisions.
