How to Apply
Eligible candidates will have completed a doctoral-level degree (PhD or PsyD) from an APA/PCSAS-accredited clinical or counseling psychology graduate program, an APA/CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship, and must have obtained a limited permit to practice psychology in the State of New York prior to starting (http://www.op.nysed.gov/prof/psych/psychlic.htm#permit). Applicants must also possess a strong demonstrated interest in working with a diverse, multicultural, and systematically under-resourced population. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all 5 positions are filled for the year. The start date is flexible, but ideally will be between August 1 to September 1 each year.
The stipend is currently $75,000. Postdoctoral residents also receive medical insurance, vacation, sick leave, professional development time, and other house staff benefits (e.g., library privileges, educational allowance, etc.). The Postdoctoral Residency Program at Montefiore/Einstein requires a background check, pre-employment drug testing, and medical clearance as conditions of employment.
