Richard A. He has participated in national studies on bone morphogenic protein, using this protein to generate bone in severe cases. He studies endosteal implants and uses them for jaw reconstruction. He also performs jaw resection and reconstruction employing bone harvested from the patient, as well as generated through modern regenerative techniques. As director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program, Dr. Kraut serves as a tertiary referral point for patients with major, non-cancerous disorders of the jaw. Areas of Expertise
