Professional Training Programs

Overview

Resident Goals and Objectives

The program includes extensive training in all aspects of otolaryngology. The goals and objectives of the program are to provide residents with education in the comprehensive medical and surgical care of diseases and disorders of otolaryngology, e.g. those affecting the ears, respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and the head and neck. Each assignment and rotation utilizes the strengths of each clinical facility to meet those goals. The program is designed to expose the resident to increasing responsibilities in inpatient, ambulatory and outpatient environments during their four years of training. Each resident progresses in direct relationship to his/her acquisition of knowledge, clinical judgment and technical capabilities.
