Evia Nano, MD, right, received the Outstanding House Officer award from Peter A. Selwyn, MD, MPH, chairman of the Department of Family Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. The award, given to two graduating house officers, recognizes extraordinary clinical acumen and skill, compassion for patients' needs and rapport with fellow professionals.
