Advanced Radiology Clerkship and Subinternships
Students seeking a more intensive experience after the two-week clerkship can take part in our four-week advanced elective and concentrate in up to four different radiology subspecialties. Our students enjoy a tremendous amount of flexibility to suit their needs and future goals.
Elective rotations are also available in four-week blocks, where students have the following opportunities:
- Focus on a specific radiologic subspecialty to gain a more advanced understanding in a specific area of interest
- Work closely with the division head in their area of interest to customize a learning plan
- Become more involved with procedures, research or exposure to a specific modality of interest
Subinternships are available are available in the following specialties:
- Cardiothoracic imaging
- Body imaging
- Musculoskeletal imaging
- Pediatric radiology
- Interventional radiology
- Nuclear medicine
- Emergency radiology (evenings)
