American Heart Month at Montefiore
February is American Heart Month, a time dedicated to increasing awareness about heart disease, prevention and the small lifestyle changes that can help improve heart health.
It's why every February our Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care makes an even greater effort to offer information, outreach and access to help the communities we serve take important steps toward preventing heart disease.
In honor of American Heart Month, we're encouraging patients and members of the communities we serve with the theme "My heart, my life."
We're also sponsoring a variety of events, screenings, healthy eating demonstrations, educational talks and workshops designed to promote heart-health awareness and education. All events (including blood pressure seminars, movie screenings, food demonstrations, lectures and more) are free and open to the community, our patients and Montefiore employees.
View our calendar to find an educational event or screening specifically for your needs and learn more about our heart-healthy events.
