Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery

Services

Since opening in 1970, the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center has pursued a threefold mission of providing the best quality care to patients, conducting research to advance the field of otorhinolaryngology and training the next generation of specialists.  Our national reputation for excellence was recently acknowledged by U.S. News & World Report, which ranked Montefiore’s performance in the specialty of Ear, Nose and Throat as “high-performing.”  Marvin P. Fried, MD, an award winning otolaryngologist, has led the Department since 1999 and is a recognized pioneer in rhinology and laryngology.
