Professional Training Programs

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ORL-HNS) at Montefiore Medical Center provides primary and tertiary care for the full spectrum of disorders of the head and neck as well as helping to maintain patient and community health of the head and neck.

Our physicians, audiologists, and speech and swallowing experts have extensive expertise in all aspects of clinical care, including ear disease and hearing loss, dizziness, voice discords, nasal and sinus illnesses, head and neck tumors, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, swallowing problems, and infections of the head and neck.

The pediatric otolaryngology division is based in The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), one of the most technologically advanced hospitals for children in the world, while adult patients are seen in the Greene Medical Arts Pavilion where state of the art facilities allow for expert and comforting care. Our close interactions with other Montefiore providers offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment.

The ORL-HNS department also serves as the center of the residency program in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, one of the finest residency programs in the New York area. The department also promotes significant research programs providing invaluable learning opportunities for residents and medical students as well as paving the way for future improvements in patient care.
