MARS® technology saved Diego’s life.

Diego

MARS® technology saved Diego’s life.

17 year old Diego Catalan had been battling liver disease for two years when the active high schooler’s health took a devastating turn for the worse. He was in acute liver failure.

Diego was the first child in the Northeast to be treated for acute liver failure with MARS®.

Miraculously, the MARS® machine not only stabilized Diego, but it allowed his liver to regenerate without the need for a transplant or other surgery.

Thanks to the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, Diego is back on the field performing for excited sports fans at local halftime shows.
