Jasmeen Dara, MD
- Allergy & Immunology, Pediatric Infectious Disease
Dr. Dara is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics in Allergy and Immunology as well as Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Dara received her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX and her medical education at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Dara completed her residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia and both fellowships in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Allergy & Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
During her training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, she completed a Masters in Clinical Research Training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her thesis project was to determine if an HIV-1 subtype C polymorphism affected neurocognitive outcomes in a cohort of pediatric patients in Mawali.
During her training in Allergy and Immunology, she was selected as a participant in the Clinical Immunology Society’s Summer School for Primary Immune Deficiencies in 2014, a program designed to train clinical immunologists from around the world in the diagnosis, pathogenesis, and treatment of primary immunodeficiency diseases. She has a clinical focus in clinical immunology including both primary and secondary immunodeficiencies.
