Kristina E. Malik, MD
Kristina Malik, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Division of Academic General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), and an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on providing comprehensive primary care and care coordination consults for individuals from infancy to 21 years of age living at home with various conditions and chronic illnesses and requiring medical equipment. Dr. Malik joined Montefiore in 2015.
Dr. Malik attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine where she received her Doctor of Medicine in 2012. She completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine, Baystate Medical Center.
Dr. Malik’s research focuses on providing evidence-based care and developing a robust medical home environment for children with complex medical conditions. Projects she has worked on include determining best care for treatment of tracheitis in children with chronic tracheostomies and building dental homes for children with medical complexities. Her work on her fields of interest has been published in reviewed journals and abstracts.
In 2015, Dr. Malik received the Resident Clinical Teaching Award, General Pediatrics, from Baystate Medical Center.
Dr. Malik is board certified in General Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is also a member of the Academic Pediatric Association and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
