Dr. In specializes in the surgical management of patients with gastrointestinal cancers, including cancers of the stomach, esophagus/GE junction, pancreas, biliary track, liver, and small and large intestine. She is also among a select number of surgeons who perform hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) to treat advanced-stage abdominal cancers that have not responded to standard therapies.

- Biography
Haejin In, MD, MBA, MPH—a graduate of the Dongguk University College of Medicine in South Korea—completed her surgical residency at the Boston Medical Center, and a fellowship in complex general surgical oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. In also received a Master of Business Administration from the Boston University Graduate School of Management and a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Dr. In has authored publications in prestigious medical journals, including Annals of Surgery and Cancer, and presented at meetings of leading medical organizations. She serves as an expert panelist on upper gastrointestinal cancers for the American Joint Committee on Cancer's eighth edition of the Cancer Staging System. Dr. In is also a member of the FORDS Manual Revision Project and the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer Standards Committee.
