Biography

Sharon Patrick, MD, is Attending Physician at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology & Women’s Health at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on the care of high-risk pregnancy patients with a specific focus on maternal medical problems, preterm labor and periviable birth.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster in 1982, Dr. Patrick attended Case Western Reserve University, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 1986. Her postdoctoral training took place at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where she completed an internship in 1987, a residency in 1990 and a clinical fellowship in 1992.

Dr. Patrick’s research focuses on periviability prevention and management through neonatology, with a specific focus on patient education. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts.

Dr. Patrick has been listed in New York’s Best Doctors several times. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
