Chairman's Letter

Dear Doctor:

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center has a strong commitment to resident training and education.

We have a dynamic faculty with excellent teaching and mentorship skills, thanks in large part to strong support from our parent institutions.  Many of our department physicians have been recognized internationally for their physiatric and teaching expertise.  Our affiliation with one of the largest teaching hospitals in the United States provides residents with a challenging and diverse didactic and clinical curriculum.

The atmosphere at Einstein/Montefiore is both friendly and collegial.  Despite the large size of our system, we have managed to maintain a strong esprit de corps among the faculty and the resident staff.

I encourage you to consider this program as you make important decisions regarding post-graduate training.  I am certain that we offer a rewarding experience.
