Title   Safety Study of Live Bacteria to Treat Solid Tumors That Have Not Responded to Standard Therapy
Description   This protocol will examine the safety of administration of Clostridium novyi-NT spores in patients with treatment-refractory solid tumor malignancies.

This pilot study will also investigate the safety of using a sepsis scoring system to determine when to initiate antibiotics in these patients.

Eligibility Criteria   To be eligible for this study, patients must meet several criteria, including but not limited to the following:

* Patient must be 18 Years and older

* Patient must have a diagnosed solid tumor malignancy.

* Patient has discussed this protocol and the risk associated with this study agent with an oncologist who is independent of this research.

* Patient is able to stay within 45 minutes driving time of Johns Hopkins Hospital for 28 days following discharge.
