Yossef Blum, MD is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction as well aship and knee replacement including minimally invasive joint replacements and blood-conserving surgical options. Dr. Blum has been with Montefiore for XX years and currently serves as Assistant Clinical Director of the Joint Replacement Center.
After graduating as valedictorian with a bachelor’s degree from Yeshiva University, Dr. Blum received his medical degree from Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Montefiore and a fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery with a focus on knee and hip replacement.
In addition to presenting his findings at national meetings, Dr. Blum has authored several papers and chapters on his specialty. He is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). He speaks Spanish and Hebrew fluently.
