Pediatric Residency Program at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore
Welcome to the Pediatric Residency Program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore
Located in the Bronx borough of New York City, The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) is the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. Our pediatric residency welcomes 29 interns per year and offers excellent exposure to all subspecialty patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Pediatric Emergency Department has over 60,000 visits per year and we care for approximately 8,000 inpatients at our state-of-the-art facility each year. Our faculty members have been nationally and internationally recognized for their contributions to the field of pediatrics and CHAM ranked in all 10 specialties in the 2011-2012 US News’ Best Children’s Hospitals. With ample experience to patients with high-acuity illnesses and both common and uncommon diagnoses, our residents are well-prepared for whatever careers they may choose in general or subspecialty pediatrics.
