Curriculum

The Vascular Integrated Residency and Fellowship programs follow a curriculum that includes all aspects of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Resident and fellow education follows the clinical experience of the vascular surgery services at our teaching hospitals and is organized to include both basic science as well as clinical topics.

The weekly didactic and academic conferences are held every Friday morning. The didactic schedule includes faculty lectures from experts in a variety of disciplines, including:

  • Oral Board Review
  • Grand Rounds
  • Vascular lab conference
  • Research conference
  • Quality improvement meetings
  • Morbidity and Mortality conference
  • Rutherford book chapter lectures (topics on a rotating biennial schedule)
  • Case/Imaging Conference
  • Journal Club

Our residents and fellows attend the following meetings:

  • Vascular Boot Camp
  • VEITHSymposium
  • Moore Vascular Course
  • New York Vascular (biannual)
  • Vascular Fellow’s Abstract Competition
  • Any conference with an accepted poster or presentation
