Cardiology - Cardiologists - New York - Montefiore Medical Center

At the Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care, we realize our patients with cardiovascular disease are eager to return to their lives, families and friends as quickly as possible. Our skilled and experienced cardiologists are committed to the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease through leading, innovative therapies and clinical best practices — many of which are offered to our patients before they become generally available at other hospitals and heart centers. Our remarkable team of specialists is dedicated to patients with all stages and types of heart disease, including many who believe they are without options.

Our physicians openly and regularly discuss conditions, treatment options and procedure details with our patients and their families. We listen to their concerns and encourage them to ask questions. We have a responsive staff of doctors, nurses and support personnel who are accessible to help patients navigate every step of their journey.

Innovation
As the home of the world's first transvenous pacemaker system, Montefiore remains at the forefront of cardiac medicine and surgery. We have received significant research funding from the National Institutes of Health to study the genetics of heart disease, the molecular biology of heart muscle and the causes of heart failure. We continuously seek out minimally invasive solutions for complex conditions to help ensure the quickest recovery possible. Through our innovative procedures and treatments, the Heart and Vascular Center pushes the boundaries of current research and continues to redefine the field of cardiology.
