Step Forward for St. Luke’s Hospital Project

Joan Cusack-McGuirk, president and CEO, Montefiore St. Luke’s, unveils expansion plans for emergency services at the hospital’s Newburgh campus. Project elements being reviewed by its Planning Board include an observation unit above the radiology department, magnetic resonance imaging, a service currently unavailable at the hospital, and the renovation of the emergency department to improve triage services and have more spaces for ambulances. A new outpatient Burke Rehabilitation facility and dialysis department will also be added.
