Biography: | Jonathan J. Trambert, MD, is an Attending Radiologist at Montefiore and an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since joining Montefiore in 1985, his clinical focus has been primarily on interventional radiology. Dr. Trambert obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1977. After completing an internship at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, he spent two years with the US Public Health Service. Dr. Trambert then completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Bronx Municipal Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed two fellowships in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. One was at the University of Pittsburgh and the other at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Trambert’s research focuses on a variety of topics. He has been the lead or significant author on several peer reviewed journal articles, and has contributed book chapters on subjects in interventional radiology. Dr. Trambert has participated on several committees during his time at Montefiore, including the Quality Care Committee-Risk Management Council. He is currently a Faculty Senator. |
