Lab-Based Research

The Department of Neurological Surgery at Montefiore and our Albert Einstein College of Medicine has an active and robust lab-based research program, also known as basic science research. The lab-based research consists of individual and collaborative work conducted by basic scientists, physician scientists, and postdoctoral scientists.
