Gastrointestinal and genitourinary imaging
Mariya Kobi, MD, is Associate Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program, Director of the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship Program and an Attending Radiologist at Montefiore. Dr. Kobi is also an Assistant Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She specializes in genitourinary and gastrointestinal imaging. Dr. Kobi joined Montefiore in 2015.
Dr. Kobi graduated from State University of New York, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine and received her Doctor of Medicine in 2007. In 2008, she completed an internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center. Following this, Dr. Kobi completed the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Montefiore, where she became Chief Resident in her third year. Dr. Kobi completed the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship Program at Montefiore in 2013.
Dr. Kobi’s research focus is in liver imaging. She has had numerous original research articles published, along with contributions to reviews and book chapters, and has given many oral presentations nationally, including at the Society of Abdominal Radiology annual meeting.
She is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of American College of Radiology and the Society of Abdominal Radiology.
