Advanced Radiology Clerkship and Subinternships
Students seeking a more intensive experience after the two-week clerkship can take part in our four-week advanced elective and concentrate in up to four different radiology subspecialties. Our students enjoy tremendous amount of flexibility to suit their needs and future goals.
Elective rotations are also available in four week blocks, where students have the opportunity to:
- Focus on a specific radiologic subspecialty to gain more advanced understanding in a specific area of interest.
- Work closely with the division head of their area of interest to customize a learning plan.
- Become more involved with procedures, research, or exposure to a specific modality that they are interested in.
Subinternships are available in:
- Cardiothoracic Imaging
- Body Imaging
- Musculoskeletal Imaging
- Pediatric Radiology
- Interventional Radiology
- Nuclear Medicine
- Emergency Radiology (evenings)
