Services and Treatments
Clinical Services
The department offers an extensive range of outstanding clinical services across our multiple Bronx campuses and in Westchester. Our clinical programs provide state-of-the-art treatment with a focus on culturally attuned individual and group outpatient care for adults, children, and adolescents with mental health conditions or addiction.
We also offer neuropsychological assessment services, emergency psychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry services at the Montefiore Einstein Moses, Weiler, and Wakefield Hospitals and the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), and inpatient adult psychiatry at the Moses and Wakefield Hospitals.
Innovative Treatment
We are proud to offer advanced biological treatments including transcranial magnetic stimulation and esketamine, along with other pharmacological approaches. We also offer sophisticated psychotherapy techniques including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and trauma-informed therapies.
An Integrative Approach
Our collaborative multidisciplinary programs include our Eating Disorders Program, which employs expertise from Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adolescent Medicine; the Women’s Mental Health Program, which includes specialists from Psychiatry as well as OB-GYN and Women’s Health; and our Transplant Psychiatry Service comprised of Psychiatry and the Transplant Surgical programs.
