Resident Evaluations

In addition to the Plastic Surgery Milestones evaluation of the residents, throughout the residency program, the residents are evaluated on the following measurable objectives:

  1. Annual Mock Oral In-service Exam, in which questions probe the reasoning for requesting clinical findings, interpretation of findings, and treatment plans.
  2. The PSEF Annual Written In-Service Exam, in which multiple-choice questions samples knowledge and understanding of a defined body of knowledge.
  3. The O.R. cases logged in the ACGME Resident Case Log System determine the scope of patient care experience.
