About CHAM’s 2015 TCS New York City Marathon Team
On Sunday November 1, 2015, dozens of members of the Montefiore community will participate in the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon as part of our CHAMPIONS for CHAM team. The team is dedicated to raising support for the enhancement services that are critical to optimizing the outcomes for our pediatric patients and strengthening their families. These services include Child Life programming that provides psycho-social support, healing arts services such as music therapy, support groups for parents, enhancements to our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to support families through their stressful journeys, and social work support that enables children to transition back to home and school after discharge and attend follow up appointments.
