Services and Treatments

When symptoms suggest cancer, your physician may request diagnostic procedures that include imaging tests to help positively diagnose it. Imaging tests may include:

Mammography and Breast Imaging

Traditional mammography is a form of imaging that uses a low-dose X-ray system to examine the breasts and project the image onto X-ray film. Learn more about Mammography and Breast Imaging.

Computed tomography (CAT scan)

A non-invasive procedure that takes cross-sectional images of the brain or other internal organs to detect any abnormalities that may not show up on an ordinary x-ray. The CAT scan may indicate enlarged lymph nodes - a possible sign of a spreading cancer or of an infection. Learn more about CAT scans.

4D CT Scan

4D CT introduces the 4th dimension—time—to produce a 3-D movie loop of the tumor moving with patient breathing. Discover more information about this procedure.
