Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)

Important Change Affecting All Individuals Using Mobile Devices to Access the Montefiore Network and Email

The HIPAA Security Rule requires all users of mobile devices to protect and secure patient information while using their mobile devices.

Users must enroll and download the EMM application in order to access Montefiore Patient and Corporate information. Please see the Network and Email Cutoff Schedule for specific dates users will need to complete this process by in order to avoid access interruption

The app must be downloaded on the following devices that access Montefiore Patient and Corporate information:

  • Corporate and personal phones
  • iPods
  • Tablets

The following devices are excluded:

  • Laptops and Computers
