We conduct regular evaluations of our birthing facilities to ensure that patients enjoy modern, comfortable rooms. Mother and child often share a room, and the same skilled nurse is assigned to both, providing convenient, well-rounded and attentive care.
Reproductive Medicine and Infertility
Physicians and experts at the Montefiore Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Health are leaders in the field of infertility. Founded in 1986 as the first full-service in vitro fertilization program in Westchester County, the Institute is recognized for its in-depth expertise, innovative treatment methods and ongoing research. Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatal ICU
Montefiore's Jack D. Weiler Hospital is home to a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as sophisticated diagnostics for high-risk conditions. As one of 18 designated Regional Perinatal Centers in New York State, Weiler Hospital is a major referral hub for women with high-risk conditions seeking specialized services unavailable elsewhere in the region.
