Hematology-Oncology Fellowship

Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine offer a three-year combined Hematology-Oncology Fellowship to prepare physicians for academic and clinical practice in hematology-oncology. The fellowship is one of the largest of its kind in the nation.

Fellows receive extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of hematological disorders and conditions. They see patients in two large hematology clinics, thrombosis clinic, bone marrow procedure clinic and sickle cell clinic. Working closely with leading investigators specializing in blood diseases, fellows participate in a wide range of clinical and basic hematology and oncology research projects.

To apply for the fellowship, a physician must have successfully completed three years of an accredited postgraduate program in internal medicine.
