LI Woman Gets Rare Double-Organ Transplant

Dr. Jacqueline Lamour, director, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Therapies, Pediatric Cardiology, CHAM, and professor, Pediatrics, Einstein, and Dr. Milan Kinkhabwala, chief, Transplantation; director, Abdominal Transplantation, Montefiore Einstein Center for Transplantation; and professor, Surgery, Einstein, share details about the complex case of 24-year-old Gabrielle Cotty who received a heart and liver transplant at CHAM earlier this year. Gabrielle is one of about 250 people in the U.S. to have successfully had a simultaneous heart and liver transplant.
