Dr. Kogan-Liberman specializes in pediatric hepatology and pediatric liver transplantation. Her clinical focus is on neonatal cholestasis, cholestatic liver disorders, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, portal hypertension, liver failure and liver transplantation. Dr. Kogan-Liberman has special interest in chronic gastrointestinal diseases including IBD, celiac disease and eosinophilic disorders.
- Research Focus
Dr. Kogan-Liberman’s clinical research concentrates in cholestatic liver disorders, autoimmune liver disease, liver transplantation and infectious complications after liver transplant. She participates in a National Registry for pediatric liver transplantation (SPLIT Research Network).

Dr. Kogan graduated from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey and her Pediatric Gastrointestinal and Hepatology Fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was an integral member of the Pediatric liver transplant team. Dr. Kogan was a member of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Hackensack University Medical Center for nine years prior to joining the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
