"I was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Bernard Tyson. Over a long and storied career, his vision and compassion have touched the lives of millions of patients and their families. He leaves behind a legacy of transformational change as he fought to improve the healthcare delivery system and provide access to better healthcare for Americans across the country. On behalf of the entire Montefiore and Einstein community, our hearts go out to Bernie's family, the employees of Kaiser Permanente and all of the people whose lives he touched throughout his career."
