Said S. Saab, MD, MPhil, is Attending Physician at Montefiore and Clinical Instructor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Saab specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology.
In 2009, Dr. Saab received his Bachelor of Science from Emory University. From 2009 to 2014, he earned his Doctor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine. Concurrent with this, from 2012 to 2013, he completed a Master of Philosophy in translational medicine and therapeutics at the University of Cambridge. In 2014, he started his postdoctoral education at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, completing a yearlong internship in obstetrics and gynecology followed by a three-year residency in the same disciplines. In 2020, he began his Master of Education in the health professions at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Saab’s research focus is on medical student and resident education. His work has been shared in several research publications, abstracts and posters. He is a reviewer for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Saab is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He has been recognized for his scholarly work and academic performance, and in 2020 was recognized as a Top 10% Peer Reviewer by Obstetrics and Gynecology.
