Kfier Kuba, MD, FACOG, is Attending Physician at Montefiore and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Kuba’s clinical focus is on maternal fetal medicine, particularly the management of high-risk pregnancies, including in the outpatient clinic setting, as well as consultations, ultrasound, fetal testing, inpatient antepartum admissions, labor and delivery.
After earning his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at Stony Brook University in 2007, Dr. Kuba attended State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2011. For his postdoctoral training, he came to Montefiore-Einstein, completing a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology in 2015 and a three-year fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine in 2020.
Dr. Kuba’s research focuses on the induction of labor and the management of labor and delivery. He has shared his research through reviewed publications and at invited presentations. Dr. Kuba is also a reviewer for the Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine and the American Journal of Perinatology.
Dr. Kuba is board certified and is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine. He has received many accolades for his teaching including the Leo M. Davidoff Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students and the Samuel G. Oberlander Memorial Award for Leadership in the Education of Medical Students.
