Research

The support services, resources and research of Tarrytown Cardiology Associates provide patients with the tools to change their lifestyle and successfully manage their heart health.

Research

As part of Montefiore Einstein Center for Heart and Vascular Care, our doctors have access to the latest clinical research and technology developed by our partners at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This collaboration aims to continually challenge clinical research and advance cardiology treatment.

Montefiore Medical Center also actively participates in clinical trials in cooperation with Einstein. Currently, the Center participates in a study of ventricular assist devices (VADs), or heart pumps, including several trials funded by the National Institutes of Health.

The Heart and Vascular Center is also participating in a cardiac stem cell research project and the STICH trial, which is sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Resources

Our patients have access to all the support services and reliable information provided by the Montefiore system, including outside of the doctor’s office.

Our Health Library holds a wealth of critical information on health symptoms, illness and procedures. For instance, the Health Library includes content on risk factors, signs and symptoms and medication, all pertaining to heart disease.

As active advocates for heart health, our team also serves in community outreach programs, such as Go Red For Women through the American Heart Association, among other programs aimed at improving patients’ lives.
