Montefiore is committed to assisting our patients and members of the community who are covered under Health Republic insurance plans find new health coverage. The New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS), New York State of Health (NYSOH), and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that all Health Republic Insurance Company policies—both individual and small group—will end on November 30, 2015.
Individuals who purchased a Health Republic plan on the NYSOH marketplace are eligible for a special enrollment period to select new coverage for the remainder of 2015. Individuals must select a new plan before November 30 and can do so through the NYSOH portal or by calling 855-329-8899. Health Republic members who do not select coverage by November 30 will be auto-enrolled in a plan that closely matches their current benefits/network.
Additionally, all Health Republic members can visit any of Montefiore’s Medicaid offices to see a certified application counselor for assistance enrolling in a new plan (visit our website for Montefiore Medicaid Office locations).
Montefiore accepts almost all health plans. Health Republic members interested in selecting a new plan before the November 30 deadline can consider selecting from the following Montefiore-participating plans:
