Last month, Montefiore was the only health system – and the only Bronx location -- that partnered with the Names Project to display panels from the AIDS memorial quilt in the Einstein and Moses lobbies. Associates and leaders held a closing ceremony at the end of Pride Month to recognize Montefiore’s longstanding achievements in HIV/AIDS treatment and the communal grief of lives lost in the AIDS epidemic.
