Montefiore Medical Center’s Clinical Diabetes Center offers innovative solutions to help treat and prevent this debilitating disease.  Our Center is:  

• Twice nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association for the Proactive Managed Information System for Education in Diabetes. The PROMISED© Program provides 10 hours of patient education, including nutrition counseling, insulin pump training, subcutaneous glucose monitoring and more.
• At the forefront of diabetes research. Our relationship with Einstein Diabetes Research Center at Albert Einstein College of Medicine allows us to turn medical breakthroughs into innovative treatments. Our Center was recently awarded a five-year grant to further the care of women with gestational diabetes.
