Education

As part of our extensive cancer program, Montefiore Medical Center offers professional training programs to all its clinical staff members. Our residency and fellowship programs, sponsored by Albert Einstein College of Medicine, are staffed by full-time faculty members under the educational direction of the vice chairman and program director of the cancer department. The educational priority of each Department is to prepare trainees thoroughly for the next phase of their careers.

We offer professional opportunities in the following:

Department of Oncology

The Department is the clinical arm of the Albert Einstein Research Center, an NCI-designated Cancer Center. Close to 200 clinical research trials in all aspects of human cancer are currently being conducted within the Department. Learn more about the professional training programs in Oncology.

Radiation Oncology

The objective of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program is to educate and train physicians to be skillful and adept at the practice and art of radiation oncology as well as caring and compassionate in the treatment of their patients. Hematology Oncology Fellowship

Established in 1959, our three and four-year programs offer an exceptional range of experience and research opportunities to fully prepare physicians for academic and clinical practice in hematology/oncology. Learn more about the fellowship program.
