At the heart of our alumni relations efforts is the Montefiore Staff and Alumni Association, an institutionally-based organization that strengthens the relationships among Montefiore’s house staff, medical staff and alumni. The Staff and Alumni Association provides programs, services, and support to the medical staff and alumni of Montefiore Medical Center. Most programs offer discounted fees to current (i.e., dues-paying members) of the Association. A Career Night program is offered free of charge to all house officers. More than 8,000 Einstein MD, MD-PhD. and PhD graduates serve the nation as leading physicians, medical educators and biomedical scientists. Since its inception in 1962, the Einstein Alumni Association has provided support and assistance to the College of Medicine and its students, with emphasis on scholarships and improving the quality of student life. The Association honors members including house staff for scientific or medical excellence in any department including House Staff. As a premiere academic medical center, we also honor our clinicians for their contributions to medical research and education through scholarships and paper competitions in the basic sciences and clinical medicine.
