The Epilepsy In-Patient Monitoring Unit is one of six specially designated epilepsy centers in the state of New York. Whether a patient had seizures as a child or began having them as an adult, this monitoring unit will diagnose a patient's specific type of epilepsy and develop an integrated treatment strategy that no other facility can offer. The Sleep-Wake Disorders Center is the first center dedicated to sleep-wake disorders to be accredited by the American Sleep Disorders Association. The Center provides outstanding clinical care to patients with disorders that affect the sleep-wake cycle such as sleepwalking, narcolepsy and insomnia.
