Visiting Hours

Visiting hours and visitor rules are the same for all Montefiore hospitals.

General Visiting Hours
12:00 pm to 8:30 pm Daily

We request that visitors be limited to two (2) per bedside at a time. If there are special circumstances, please speak with the patient's nurse.

Intensive/Special Care Units

Only immediate family members or other persons with a close relationship with the patient may visit in these units. Please use the visitor phones outside each unit to call for permission to enter.

Hours:
9:00 am to 10:00 am (5 minutes only)
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
8:30 pm to 9:30 pm (5 minutes only)

• Medical Intensive Care Unit: North 2 Silver Zone
• Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit: North 3 Silver Zone
• Neurosurgical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit: North 3 Silver Zone
• Pulmonary Care Unit: R1 Red Zone
• Post Anesthesia Care Unit/Surgery Center: North 3 Silver Zone (with approval of charge nurse)
