The Montefiore-Einstein Center for Transplantation is seeking applicants for our Transplant Surgery Fellowship beginning July 1, 2015.
This two-year fellowship program will provide comprehensive training in kidney, liver and pancreas transplantation, as well as laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy and hepatobiliary surgery. Clinical and basic science research opportunities are available.
The kidney transplantation fellowship is American Society of Transplant Surgeons approved. We accept one fellow every other year, on odd-numbered years, with the next one starting July 2015. The Match process, including deadline dates, is located at ASTS.org.
The training takes place at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine located in the heart of New York City.
The applicant must be board eligible or equivalent. For foreign medical graduates, ECFMG certification is required.
